A lecture on the topic of Road Traffic Collisions/Why did it happen to me was held at the Paralimni High School by the George Mavrikios Road Safety Foundation Lena Katelari, the Road Safety Ambassador Alexis Demetriou and the Famagusta Road Safety Officer George Demetriou.
The lecture was attended by 670 children in the closed hall of the Paralimni High School.
In their post, the Paralimni High School Parents' Association wrote, "A lecture different from the rest. A lecture that touched hearts full of emotion and reflection. A lecture that was attended by 670 children in a closed hall and absolute silence prevailed. We parents hope that our children will change our way of thinking, will see the dangers face to face and through this will teach us what we forget in our everyday lives. Eternal is the memory of those who were unjustly lost in traffic accidents. Our wish is that they will be the last and that we learn from them."
