The environmental committee of the "Ecological Schools" program in collaboration with the Ecology - Cleanliness and Student Welfare committees of the Paralimni High School organized a collection of old children's and teenage books in the context of World Children's Book Day on April 2. Name of the action "Each book a unique journey ... that never ends!" The goal is to develop environmental awareness in children by reusing children's and teenage books that were no longer necessary for them, giving them the opportunity to be used again.
The children and teachers of the school offered their books which, after being divided according to the age of the children they were addressed to, were given to enrich children's libraries.
In a modest ceremony held on May 21, 2024, the books were delivered to the Famagusta General Hospital (Pediatric Department), the Giorkeio Kindergarten in Paralimni, the Famagusta Autism Support Association and the Famagusta Children's Reading Club.
