It is with great pleasure that the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia announces the arrival at the City Hall of the faithful replica of the head of Aphrodite of Lefkolla, one of the most important archaeological finds in the area.
This symbolic return to the place where this important find was discovered is a special moment for the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and is part of the actions being developed to highlight the cultural heritage of ancient Lefkolla.
The replica was constructed by the New Museum of Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin, after months of work and decisive contacts between the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and the two leading institutions, with the aim of faithfully reproducing this unique archaeological find.
