The Youth of Paralimni actively participated in the European Youth Event (EYE) 2025, which took place on June 13 and 14 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
The conference is one of the most important European youth meetings, where hundreds of participants from all EU member states gather to exchange views, propose solutions and shape the future of Europe.
During the conference, representatives of the Paralimni Youth took part in high-level workshops and discussions, such as:
• From idea to action: design your own local project
• In the shoes of an MEP: meet and discuss with European politicians
• Democracy in 2050?
• Unwelcomed by design
• Reimagining home: a youth vision for the future of housing
• Navigating Europe's digital future: youth, AI, and human-machine collaboration
• Your digital story: young people as digital content creators
The experience was extremely constructive, offering the opportunity for active dialogue with policy makers and organized youth groups from all over Europe. This participation reinforces the goal of the Youth of Paralimni to represent the voice of young people at the European level and strengthen their participation in civic life.
Furthermore, we informed young people from all over Europe about our Youth's bid for the title of European Youth Capital 2028 @paralimniyouth2028 and the actions we aim to take towards this goal.
The Youth of Paralimni will continue to work consistently to support and promote the youth of our region.
