The events for the Holy Spirit three-day festival in the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia culminated with an impressive musical program. Yannis Ploutarchos, for the first time in Cyprus, with three of his children, Eleonora, Katerina and Giorgos Kakossios, enchanted the audience with their performances.
The Fig Tree Bay event square in Protaras was packed with fifteen thousand visitors enjoying the concert. Thousands of local and foreign visitors once again preferred the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia for the three-day festival of Kataklysmos, confirming that Protaras is the "Capital of Summer".
The contribution of attracting visitors was also great thanks to the Municipality's event program, which contributed to increased traffic at the recreation centers and hotels in the area. Also noteworthy was the contribution of the Police, which, through traffic regulations, contributed to the rapid decongestion of Protaras from traffic.
During his greeting, the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, thanked the thousands of visitors to the area, highlighting the actions and efforts made by the Municipality towards improving the standard of living of its residents and upgrading its image and services to visitors.
The Minister of Finance, Mr. Makis Keravnos, in his greetings, commended the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia for the efforts it makes both in terms of contributing to the country's tourism and through the organization of quality cultural events.
Among others present at the concert were the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, the Deputy Minister of Immigration and International Protection, Members of Parliament and other officials.
