The Municipality of Paralimni, in the context of organizing the event for the Sunday of the Flood on Sunday, June 23, 2024, requests proposals / expressions of interest for a well-known singer / singer / singers and/or a musical group to organize a concert lasting at least two (2) hours in the elementary school Fig Tree Bay event square in Protaras:
1. The concert/performance will take place in the presence of an audience at the municipal event square Fig Tree Bay in Protaras on Sunday 23 June 2024 at 21:00 on a stage to be indicated by the Municipality of Paralimni.
2. The bidder is asked to attach with the proposal, a recent signed authorization from the artist himself or his legal representative (eg record company).
3. The declaration of interest must indicate the duration of the concert, as well as persons who will accompany the singer / singer / music group presenting a dance or music program as well as the duration of each person's appearance. Provided that the total duration of appearance of the main name (singer) on stage must not be less than two (2) hours.
4. The price must include the singer's fee, board, income tax, transport, tickets, accommodation, artistic production supervision, copyright taxes and any collaborators' fees, accompanists' fees or any other fees and expenses incurred, ie all without exception the requirements of the artist and his companions/partners for arrival, accommodation, food, transportation, presentation of the artistic program and return. The Municipality of Paralimni will not provide any of the above, apart from the venue of the concert, the sound and lighting coverage, the platform (stage), the dressing rooms, and the security of the singer/singer/band throughout during the concert. It is understood that both the artist and his companions/collaborators as well as the sound, lighting and stage technicians as well as those who will work for the purpose of the event are obliged to present the artistic program of the concert in accordance with the requirements of the artist and his companions/collaborators as well as the Municipality of Paralimni, while they are responsible for transporting, setting up and keeping their items and equipment.
5. It is understood that the term "well-known artist" means a singer/singer famous in Cyprus and Greece - and preferably abroad - for the musical career through important and well-known hits, a well-known recording career and a significant presence in services playback of songs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) as well as popular with the public through the Mass Media and Social Networking Media and which has a mostly Greek music program.
6. Expressions of interest should contain full legal details of the interested parties (Full Name of Company or Natural Person, Company No., VAT No., country of company/natural person registration) where the payment check will be issued by the Municipality of Paralimni.
7. Expressions of interest must include complete and detailed and technical requirements for sound (rider), lighting and/or stage for the artist / artistic figure. It goes without saying that the attachment of all technical requirements is essential and the Municipality of Paralimni will not accept any changes or modifications after the agreement.
8. Expressions of interest must include in writing any other requirements the artist/artistic form has. It is understood that any subsequent claims will not be accepted.
9. The singer is prohibited from participating in another event - concert in Cyprus from May 24, 2023 until June 8, 2023.
10. Proposals must be submitted in writing in a sealed envelope with the inscription "PROPOSAL FOR AN ARTIST FOR THE CONCERT OF THE FLOOD ON JUNE 23, 2024 IN PROTARA" to the offer box located on the ground floor of the Municipal Building of Paralimni (Antoni Papadopoulou 6, 5282 Paralimni).
11. The last date for submitting proposals is Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 13:00 p.m.
12. Each tenderer may submit more than one (1) proposal.
13. For the submission of each proposal, interested parties are requested to complete and enclose in the proposal envelope the relevant form found in the link below with the title "Declaration of Interest for an artist / art form for the Sunday of the Flood (June 23, 2024) at Protaras" as well as all the required documents listed therein.

14. It is pointed out that the successful tenderer must, if requested, sign an agreement with the Municipality of Paralimni, before the organization of the concert, and upon signing it must present to the Municipality of Paralimni a certified bank check in the amount of one thousand euros (€ 1.000), issued from a personal account of a natural person to the Municipality of Paralimni which will be returned after the end of the concert.
15. The Municipality of Paralimni is not obliged to accept the lowest or any other expression of interest.
16. The Municipality of Paralimni may request clarifications or clarifying details about the proposal from the interested parties.
