The Paralimni Christmas Shopping Festival took place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Paralimni shopping center. With the aim of stimulating shopping during the holidays, the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia organized a series of events on the streets of the shops. The program included painting workshops for children, a carriage with Santa Claus, children's mascots, a snow machine and a live link with DeeJay Radio.
During the program, seven musical groups performed a beautiful musical program at various points of the shopping center. Specifically, the groups participating were Red Lips Duo, Eleni Menelaou, George Vasiliou, Andreas Giapanis, Athena Lianou, Avgi Hatzipavlou, Irini Pelagia, George Pasmas, Kyriakos Hatziandreou, Demosthenia Melani Moti, Nikos Vlittis, Gabriel Papacharalambous, Andreas Smagas, Irinaios Dimitriou, Angeliki Hatzivasiliou, Stefanos Hatziandreou and Andreas Siantanis.
In his statements, the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, pointed out that the event concerns the strengthening of shopping traffic in the Paralimni shopping center, which operates as a Paralimni Open Christmas Mall, and invited everyone to participate in the Christmas events organized throughout the Municipality, to visit the "Ice Age" theme park located in Paralimni and Deryneia and to enjoy the unique Christmas Decoration, which is one of the best in all of Cyprus.
