The signing of the contracts for the start of another development project for the province of Famagusta, that of the Paralimni marina, has been completed today.
The project will cost 110m euros and will include 300 boats and boats. The first phase will be ready in 2020 and the rest in 2023.

In his speech, the Mayor of Paralimni described Marina Paralimni as a life project for the Municipality. He said that the Competition for Marina Paralimniou's Project was announced in June 2015 and almost the entire business world estimated that there would be no bidder for the project due to the economic crisis that was affecting our country. Nevertheless, as he said, "we are entering the stage of implementation of the project, which is worth 110 million, a project whose positive systemic effects on the economy of our country are enormous."

In his greeting, the Minister of Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism, George Lakkotrypis, stated that “the Marina Paralimniou, which will be declared an official entry point to the Republic (Port of Entry) as soon as it operates, around 2021, will have a capacity of 300 about ships.
