On instagram you will find it with the username @elena_grg and from there we realized through her beautiful photos that one of her very favorite destinations is the province of Famagusta.
Who is Elena?
Elena comes from and lives in Nicosia. In recent years he has been working in the field of Digital Marketing and that is why he uses social media to convey what he sees while traveling. As reported in Famagusta.News, her travels give life, offering wonderful memories and food for self-thinking and evolution. And he does not mean travel only outside the borders but also inside, because, as he mentions, although our island is small, it has so many landscapes that it is certain that none of us managed to explore them all.
This year the pandemic kept her, as she says, away from a trip abroad, so she seized the opportunity to be, almost every summer day, in a city full of fantastic beaches, which is none other than the province of Famagusta. . The beaches of the free Famagusta area, as she characteristically describes, are magical and that is why she took the opportunity to share through her blog, www.cypriotexploring.com, her favorites.
Favorite beaches…
"I will start from his beach Konno, because I live only 5 minutes walk from this heavenly landscape. On weekdays that are not full of people you will find me there to enjoy the view. A wonderful cove on the border of Protaras and Ayia Napa, with turquoise waters, white sand and steep pine slopes make it one of the most picturesque beaches on the island.
Another very popular beach that I prefer to enjoy during the quiet months (May - June or September - October) is Nissi Beach, photogenic, famous for its small island and the sandy path with shallow, warm and clear blue waters. You will often find me flying the drone to be able to fit in one shot the tall palm trees, the golden sand and the island…
Its beach Makronisou and the beach Landa is one of the beaches that I love especially, they make me dream of the carefree years of my childhood when I went with my siblings and my parents. The golden sand and the clear blue waters made us feel that we were on an exotic island. When I visit either beach I like to walk along the sidewalk that connects them.
Another large beach with crystal clear waters, in the heart of the tourist area of Protaras with crystal clear waters that is on my list of favorites is the beach Fig tree. Here I go for a walk on the sidewalk, for swimming, for sunbathing, for water sports or even for food in the restaurants above. On this beach you can find whatever you ask for…
A beach "Malama" name and thing… the alternative, small and calm as its name. Malama beach is located in a cove in the area of Kapparis. The view it offers is invaluable since in addition to the blue sea, many plants and trees blend harmoniously with the blue.
Last but not least… The beach Everywhere, the longest beach of Ayia Napa. With golden sand and crystal clear waters it is one of the favorites of locals and foreigners alike. And what is it that makes her stand out and has made her one of my favorites in Cyprus? a beach bar. He will find me there on hot days from May to October to enjoy my beer or my mojito wandering the sea.
