The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, held a meeting with the Head of the Bicommunal Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage, Mr. Sotos Ktoris, as well as with the members of the Committee, Mr. Angelos Smagas and Mr. George Kyprianou.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Deryneia, Mr. Nikos Lilis, the Bicommunal Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage delivered to the Municipality a significant number of saplings, which have already been planted along the road between the Agios Panteleimonas roundabout and the Profitis Ilias area, substantially contributing to the enhancement of the greenery and the aesthetic upgrade of the area. At the same time, it is expected that an even larger number of saplings will be provided to the Municipality, which will be used for planting in other central points of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia.
As stated by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, this initiative constitutes a particularly important contribution to the environmental upgrading of the area and the enhancement of urban greenery, while expressing warm thanks to the Bicommunal Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage and personally to its Head, Mr. Sotos Ktoris, and its members for their cooperation and support.
