♻️ The Municipality of Paralimni from March 13, 2023 participates in the Green Dot door-to-door Recycling program in the residential area of Paralimni (see map).
The categories you should separate your packaging into are: PMD, Paper and Glass.
PMD and Paper categories must be placed in the special clear and brown recycling bags before being placed on your curbside for collection by the workshop. The glass will be collected from the special bell-type bins, which will be located in various parts of the Municipality.
🟦 PMD Materials in Transparent Bag:
Plastic Bottles, Containers and Bags, Metal Packaging, TETRA PAK Packaging (NO plastic toys, plastic chairs, plastic cups/plates, polystyrene)
🟫 Brown Paper Bag:
Dry cartons, Newspapers, Magazines, Books, Advertising, (NO napkins, paper wrappers, toilet paper, juice packs)
🟩 Glass in Special Bins:
Glass Bottles, Food Jars (NOT glasses, cups, lamps, porcelain plates and glassware)
In the case of commercial properties / apartment buildings, you should contact Green-Dot Cyprus (70000090) directly and if you meet certain criteria, you will be supplied with a PMD bin, 1100 litres.
