IN THE STORY OF THE PROJECT, George and Doris enter into an illicit relationship and since then meet only once a year, always on the same day, in a motel in San Francisco. For 25 whole years! An oasis relationship, as love, as friendship, as romance, as play, as pain, as laughter. A relationship both outside and inside their lives and their legal, contractual relationships. Everyone has a spouse and children., many children. So they have to manage within 24 hours to share everything, while at the same time picking up their relationship from where they left it a year ago! They have to discover what changed and what stayed the same, what hurt and what put a new spin on themselves. And we see the "painting" being created before our eyes. They were almost teenagers and in the finale they are middle aged.. They were neurotic and they remained neurotic, they were innocent and they remained innocent. How important they are to each other, they discover little by little, until that moment arrives for the big decision..
