A lecture entitled "Tourism in Cyprus: Historical Journey, Contemporary Trends and Prospects for the Future" will take place on Thursday, April 10 at 18:30 PM in the Events Hall of the Paralimni - Deryneia Municipal Hall.
The aim of the lecture is to analyze the historical path of Cypriot tourism and its development, taking into account external and internal economic and social factors. In addition, the lecture aims to draw conclusions in relation to the formation of Cyprus as an attractive tourist destination and the possibility of it becoming an example of sustainable development in tourism events. The speaker of the lecture will be Dr. Sotiroula Liasidou, Associate Professor at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the Cyprus University of Technology (TUTIC). Admission to the lecture is free.
The lecture will last one hour, with a reception at the end for networking and discussion. All participants will be given a certificate of attendance.
