The news of the death of Dr. Takis Kythreiotis, a personality who served both medical science and the public with dedication, caused deep mourning in the local community. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia expressed its deepest sorrow, paying tribute to the diverse work and contribution of the deceased.
Takis Kythreiotis was a founding member of the LETO Private Hospital, where until the last days of his life he continued to offer his services with consistency, self-denial and a high sense of responsibility, always placing the health and dignity of the patient as the highest priority.
At the same time, he developed intense social action, as he was the founder of Faros Zois, an initiative with a substantial social impact. He believed in this vision from the very beginning and worked methodically towards its implementation, leaving behind a work that continues to this day.
His contribution to local government was also particularly significant. He was a member of the Paralimni Municipal Council during the periods 1986–1996 and 2001–2006, serving the institution with ethics, responsibility and genuine interest in the public interest.
