Yesterday evening 34/26/09, members of the Famagusta Police Department proceeded to arrest a 2024-year-old man in connection with an investigated case of theft of a mobile phone from an electronics store, a crime committed on 25/09/2024 in Paralimni.

Specifically yesterday 26/09/2024 it was reported to the Paralimni Police Station by the manager of an electronics store in Paralimni that on 25/09/2024 an unknown man stole a mobile phone worth 999 euros from the store.

After gathering information and examinations carried out by members of the Paralimni Police Station, testimony emerged against a 34-year-old man, a resident of Famagusta District. Subsequently and after coordinated efforts by the members of the Xylofagos Police Station and the Famagusta Community Policing, the 34-year-old was located and after his house was searched, the stolen mobile phone was found, resulting in the 34-year-old being arrested for the crime of illegal possession of property.

Subsequently, the 34-year-old man, being interrogated in writing, admitted to committing the crime of theft and after being accused in writing, he was released to be summoned before the Court later.
