In the province of Famagusta specifically, members of the Paralimni Police Station proceeded shortly after 7.30:20 last night, to arrest a XNUMX-year-old man, pursuant to a judicial arrest warrant, which was obtained after evidence obtained during the investigation of a case of theft of property from a parked car.
The theft, according to the complaint submitted to the Paralimni Police Station, was committed around 1.00 yesterday afternoon, while the car was parked, but unlocked, in an area in Paralimni. The owner's bag was allegedly stolen from the vehicle, which contained a mobile phone, a purse with 65 euros in cash, a driver's license, and other items.
After the Police was given a description of a person who was seen walking around suspiciously in the area where the theft was committed, the members of the Paralimni Police Station located the suspect, who, when interrogated, allegedly confessed to committing the theft. During the investigations, the suspect indicated to members of the Police a specific spot where part of the stolen property was found.
