PARALIMNI: Formal celebrations and provincial parade for the 28th of October

The Municipality of Paralimni announces that in collaboration with the High School of Paralimni (which this year has the Coordination and Organization for the provincial parade) the Holy Diocese of Constantia-Famagusta, the Municipalities and Communities of the province of Famagusta, Cultural Organisms public and private schools, security forces, scouts, Catechism Meetings and Associations of the Municipality of Paralimni and the province of Famagusta organizes the official celebrations as well as the provincial parade for the National Anniversary of October 28.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2021:
• 18:30 Candlestick
• 19:30 Pandemic Celebration in the event hall of the Municipal Palace of Paralimni "The Branches of Daphne Bloomed Again". Organization-Artistic Program: Paralimni High School.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2021:
• 06:00 Ethnic Parade
• 06:30 Flag raising at the Municipal Palace
• 09:30 Festive Doxology at the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios Chorostatountos of the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia-Famagusta Mr. Vassilios. On behalf of the Government, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, will be present. The solemnity of the day will be delivered by the Commander of VII M / K TAX PZ, Brigadier General (PZ) Loukas Hadjimichael. Laying of Wreaths at the Monument of Heroes.
• 11:00 District Parade (Coordination-Organization of Paralimni High School) on the 1st of April Avenue.
• 18:30 Flag submission at the Municipal Palace of Paralimni
