Environmental Impact Assessment Study (MEEP) from the construction of a hotel unit at Vrysoudia in the Municipality of Paralimni (AMX / 216/2021)

Hereby, IACO Environmental & Water Consultants Ltd on behalf of the Project Owner (XENI DIMOSTHENIS & OTHERS) informs you about the construction of a hotel in Vrysoudia in the Municipality of Paralimni, in the Province of Famagusta.

In the context of the opinion of the Environmental Authority regarding the project in question, IACO Environmental & Water Consultants Ltd has prepared an Environmental Impact Assessment Study (MEEP). The MEEP presents in detail the project under consideration and the characteristics of its construction and operation, the biotic, abiotic and anthropogenic environment of the area, as well as the assessment of the effects on the environment and the measures proposed to mitigate them.

For the application of article 26 of the Environmental Impact Assessment by Certain Laws of 2018, the Project Owner must inform and enable the interested local authority and the public to submit comments and suggestions on its effects. project in the environment.

For this purpose, and for more effective information and participation of the public, MEEP will be available until Sunday 17/10/2021 as follows:

    • The full MEEP (including the relevant Non-Technical Summary) will be available in electronic form on the following website http://iaco.synology.me:5000/sharing/H4ezwtOIX 
    • The Information Report for public presentation purposes in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (7) of article 26 of the Law on the Impact Assessment of Certain Projects Law 127 (I) / 2018, will be in printed form at the offices of the Municipality of Paralimni.
