PARALIMNI: Thefts from cars during the day - Police announcement

Property thefts from cars have been detected by the Police who, together with the Neighborhood Watch of the Municipality of Paralimni, call on citizens to be particularly careful.

Specifically, according to an announcement by the Paralimni Neighborhood Watchers, thefts of property from unlocked cars have recently been observed in the area of ​​the Paralimni Cemetery.

Specifically, the perpetrators are said to be lurking inside or outside the cemetery and when they notice the driver leaving his vehicle, they approach and after finding that it is unlocked and there is a bag or other property (mobile phone, tablet) exposed on the seats, they proceed to steal it and disappear in an unknown direction.

As reported by the Police, the perpetrators do not have a specific time and day that they operate and it has not been established whether they move on foot or in a motorized vehicle.

Through the announcement, the public is asked to be especially careful, to lock their car and windows, and if they notice anything suspicious, to immediately contact the Paralimni Police Station on the numbers 23803028, 23803027 and on the citizen line 1460.
