The Police are investigating the circumstances and causes of a road collision that occurred today in Paralimni and resulted in the serious injury of a 59-year-old man.
The road collision occurred around 2:10 pm, in an area of Paralimni, where the 59-year-old was riding a motorcycle on a dirt road, heading towards the main Paralimni - Ayia Napa road.
Under circumstances that are being investigated, his motorcycle overturned, resulting in the 59-year-old being injured.
Members of the Police visited the scene for examinations, the 59-year-old was taken by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital and then to Nicosia General Hospital, where he is hospitalized in critical condition.
The Famagusta Traffic Police Department continues its examinations.
