The Municipality of Paralimni welcomes Christmas with Thanos Kalliris, the artist who has linked his voice to the Christmas festivities like no other.
On Saturday, November 19, 2022, the Municipality of Paralimni puts on its festive decorations and welcomes us to an event full of Christmas songs, flavors and a rich program of activities for children.
The event starts at 6 pm and will take place in Mitropoleos Square in Paralimni. It will include a Christmas Market and a rich program of activities and special games and shows for children. Specifically, in the event space, Bubble Show, Steampunk Show, Facepainting, Painting and Constructions for children, balloon constructions as well as separate games will take place alongside the main event program.
The artistic program includes a musical performance by the Voice and Performance Studio of Ifigenia Christodoulou and a musical parade in the square by the Symphonic Band "Armonia" of the Municipality of Paralimni. Afterwards, Thanos Kalliris will present a Christmas Concert, while the lighting of the largest Christmas tree in the province of Famagusta will take place spectacularly with fireworks.
The entrance is free.
The Lighting of the Christmas Tree is part of the Pan-Cypriot campaign of the Anti-Cancer Association and the EAC "Give Light to a Life", while at the venue of the event, among other things, a Christmas Market will be hosted by charitable organizations and Non-Profit Organizations with the aim of supporting them.

In Mitropoleos Square, the Municipality of Paralimni, like every year and this year as well, has created the largest indoor event space which will take place every weekend from December 3rd to 18th. Music, songs, theater performances, special activities for children, and events for young and old, together with a Christmas market, will offer a different program for the whole family and will be open to everyone every weekend.
Admission to all events of the Municipality of Paralimni is free.
