Authorities raid houses and premises in Paralimni, to prevent crime and strengthen the sense of security of citizens.
According to information transmitted by the Reporter website, strong forces of the Police, from the Crime Prevention Unit as well as several other services, operate in various houses and premises.
In one case in a house in the settlement of Paralimni, where a search was carried out in the afternoon, quantities of drugs were found and confiscated.
The drugs were hidden in a vehicle parked outside the house and which were arrested by the authorities and taken into custody.
At the same time, the large operation that was set up is expected to continue throughout the day in premises in Paralimni, while in the coming days similar type of operations are expected to be carried out in other areas of the free Province of Famagusta.
