Family concert by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS by French composer Camille Saint-Saens on Friday, February 28 at 18:00 PM at the Xenion High School Amphitheater, Paralimni. €8 general admission
Under the direction of Cypriot conductor Andreas Asiikkis, the concert begins with one of the most popular classical music works for children.
These are 14 extremely enjoyable pieces, where a variety of animals come to life musically, with a lot of imagination and humor: the lion, the swan, birds, chickens, donkeys, elephants, but also people, such as two pianists practicing!
The solo piano parts in the work will be performed by young pianists from the Music Schools.
The program is completed by two other, equally popular works: the elegant and dramatic first movement from Mozart's Symphony No. 40 and the bright and energetic "Spring" from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.
