On Saturday afternoon, the solemn vespers for the Collection of the Relics of Saint George the Trophy Bearer, the Artoklassia and the procession of the Holy Relic and the Icon of the Saint in the central streets of Paralimni, presided over by the Panosiologiat Archimandrite Epiphanios Papantonios, were celebrated with religious splendor on Saturday afternoon. flanked by Priests and Deacons of the parishes of Paralimni.
On the right psalter the Archon Hymnodos of M.t.CHE, Mr. Georgios Hatzichronoglou sang and on the left psalter the choir "AGIOS EPIPHANIOS".
The procession was led by the Philharmonic Band "ARMONIA" of the Municipality of Paralimni, scouts of the 291st Air Scout System carried on their shoulders the Icon of the Saint and the Catechism of the Church.
The vespers was attended by the Mayor of Paralimni, who is celebrating his nominations, members of the Municipal Council, the head of the Paralimni Police Station, the Head of the Paralimni Fire Station and a large number of believers who came to worship the icon and the Holy Relic of Saint George.
