The Famagusta Carnival Organizing Committee, in collaboration with the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, invites those interested in renting a booth during the two Carnival parades that will take place on March 1 and 2, 2025.
Interested parties can register to participate in both or one of the following dates of the Carnival Events that will take place in the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia:
– Evening Foot Parade (Saturday, March 1, 2025, 20:00 – 00:00)
– Carnival Parade (Sunday, March 2, 2025, 12:00 – 16:00)
RENTAL TERMS
1. Interested parties are required to complete the relevant electronic form posted at the following address: https://forms.gle/y9Ggvx8vzDov6DoM8
2. Interested parties may place one (1) table up to 2 meters long on which to sell their products. The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia will not provide a bench or other equipment. It is understood that the installation of any other bench, facility or vehicle will not be permitted.
3. In the event that items are sold that are not declared, the organizers may not issue a sales permit or the relevant permit may be revoked.
4. In the case of food, a health certificate must be available.
5. The use of LPG is prohibited. Gambling, the sale of animals, tobacco products, sprays, foam sprays, fireworks, sparklers, firecrackers and/or other prohibited products are prohibited.
6. Interested parties will be required to hold the relevant permit and to show it in the event of an inspection, either by Municipality officials or by members of the Police.
7. No electricity will be provided.
8. Interested parties must assume full responsibility for the products they have for sale. The organizers bear no responsibility for weather conditions, the display of the stands, the promotion of the products, the pricing policy, the people working there, their safety or their transactions with the public. All of the above are the sole responsibility of the interested parties and they will be accountable to all relevant legislation.
9. The approval of the permit as well as the selected location are the sole responsibility of the organizers.
10. The organizers and/or officers of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia have every right to not allow the presence of kiosks that do not previously secure the relevant permit and/or kiosks that do not comply with the above rental terms.
11. Applicants are required to indicate the address at which they are interested in placing their table.
12. Street vending will not be allowed during the Tsiknopempti event.
13. It is understood that the Municipality does not allow street vending without the issuance of a relevant permit and the Municipality has every right to report those who violate the law.
14. It is prohibited to park vehicles and/or wheeled vehicles on sidewalks or on roads where the passage of pedestrians and/or vehicles is obstructed. It is prohibited to park vehicles and/or wheeled vehicles in public areas without the issuance of a relevant permit.
15. It is prohibited to place tables along the parade route.
16. It is prohibited to place tables for street vending within 300 meters of the officials' stand or opposite it.
