A car owned by a 58-year-old man from Paralimni was set on fire last night.
According to the police, the fire in the vehicle broke out shortly after 2:30 after midnight, while the vehicle was parked in the yard of the owner's house, in Paralimni.
The fire service was called to the scene, members of which extinguished the fire.
The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire. The scene was under guard and examinations are expected to begin today to determine the causes of the fire.
