In a new road collision that happened yesterday afternoon in the province of Famagusta, a 52-year-old man was seriously injured.
Specifically, around 5 p.m. yesterday, while the 52-year-old was driving his car on Vrysoudion Street, in Paralimni, under circumstances that are being investigated, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit a tree and stop.
The 52-year-old was taken by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital, where it was found that he suffered a skull fracture and injuries to various parts of his body. After being intubated, he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the Nicosia General Hospital.
His health condition is judged by the treating doctors as critical.
The Paralimni Police Station continues the examinations.
