The Municipal Council and the staff of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia express their deepest sorrow for the death of the Mayor's father, Spartiatis Nikolettos at the age of 77.
Spartatis Nikolettos was a particularly important personality for Paralimni and the Famagusta district, both as a primary school teacher and as an active contributor to the dissemination and preservation of Cypriot culture, through his long-standing, substantial and very important participation in dance and cultural events.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 2.30 p.m., from the Metropolitan Church of St. George, Paralimni. The family will receive condolences from 1.30 p.m.
