A serious traffic accident involving a four-wheeled motorcycle occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Paralimni (23/09).
According to information from the Police, at around 17:00 PM yesterday afternoon, a 19-year-old man was riding a four-wheeled motorcycle on a road in Paralimni, with his 50-year-old father as a passenger. At a point on the road, under circumstances that are being investigated by the Police, the 19-year-old driver lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in it overturning.
The 19-year-old and 50-year-old were transported by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital. The 19-year-old underwent medical examinations and was discharged, as he does not appear to have been injured. The 50-year-old, who was seriously injured, due to the seriousness of his health condition, was transported by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital for further treatment.
The Paralimni Police Station is investigating.
