Paralimni: In memory of the victims of the air tragedy, the sports hall of the Technical School (images)

The reusable room at the Technical School of Paralimni was inaugurated today by the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis.

During his official visit to the province of Famagusta, the President of the Republic attended today at 11:30 in the morning at an event held at the Technical School of Paralimni for the inauguration of the new multipurpose hall, a work whose foundation stone was laid by Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis on the 12th of last May.

The hall is dedicated to the memory of the victims from Paralimni during the air tragedy of August 14, 2005 and the relatives of the victims also contributed financially to its construction.

Greetings were addressed by the Director of the School, Antonis Theodorou, the Mayor of Paralimni, Theodoros Pyrillis and Christina Tofini, on behalf of the relatives of the victims of the air tragedy.

An art program by students of the school followed.
