PARALIMNI: A 54-year-old's car is on fire

A vehicle belonging to a 54-year-old resident of Paralimni caught fire shortly after midnight while it was parked in the parking lot of an apartment building.

According to information from the Police, the 54-year-old's vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire, while extensive damage was caused to only two vehicles parked next to the 54-year-old's vehicle.

The fire was extinguished by members of the Famagusta Fire Service.

The scene was visited by the security supervisor of the ADE Famagusta as well as members of the Paralimni police station, immediate intervention and investigators of the TAE Famagusta.

The scene has been cordoned off and the examination is expected to continue with the arrival of experts in the morning.

So far, the cause of the fire is unknown, while the possibility of criminal activity cannot be ruled out.
