The wife of the President of the Republic, Mrs. Philippa Karsera Christodoulides, will visit the "Saint Christopher" Center for Offering and Love in Paralimni on Wednesday, February 5, at 5 pm.
The Center, which supports the feeding of the elderly and families, will receive this year's harvest of oranges from the Presidential Palace orchard.
During her visit, Ms. Karsera Christodoulides will participate in the preparation of orange-based dishes, together with volunteers from the area.
The initiative is part of the actions of the wife of the President of the Republic to upgrade and utilize the grounds of the Presidential Palace, which began about two years ago.
This year's action at the "Saint Christopher" Center for Offering and Love is another step towards realizing the vision of transforming the Presidential Palace into a model of environmental awareness and social contribution. At the same time, it encourages environmental awareness among the population and contributes to familiarizing young people with greenery and agricultural activities.
