The arrest of a 51-year-old man seems to have been reported by the Police regarding the case of arson in the vehicle of a 47-year-old woman in the area of Pernera in Paralimni.

According to the information, the man was arrested this morning as he is considered as a natural perpetrator for the malicious fire in the car of a woman which was parked outside her house in the area of Pernera in Protaras.
He was brought before the Famagusta District Court today, which ordered his detention for eight days.
According to the Police, the fire seems to have occurred around 20:40 at night in the back of the car, since the perpetrator or perpetrators appear at first sight to have contained the car with flammable material and then set it on fire.
The owner managed to extinguish the fire until the arrival of the Fire Department.
The members of TAE Famagusta blocked the scene and conducted investigations.
