The Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta and the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia invite you on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. at the Metropolitan Church of Saint George in Paralimni for the celebration of the Annual National-Religious Memorial of those who fell during the coup and the Paralimni Heroes of the Turkish Invasion of 1974 and a Prayer for the Finding of the Missing Paralimni.
His Holiness Metropolitan of Constantia and Famagusta, Mr. Vasileios, will preside over the Divine Liturgy, the Memorial and the Prayer.
The Government will be represented by the Honorable Minister of Justice and Public Order, Mr. Costas Fytiris.
A memorial speech will be delivered by the Honorary Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos.
A Trisagion and Wreath Laying Ceremony will follow at the Heroes' Monument (opposite the Holy Church).
