KEPA: Sanctification was performed for the beginning of the construction works of the kitchen renovation (IMAGES)

The consecration for the beginning of the construction works of the renovation of the kitchen of KEPA took place on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

The consecration was performed by Archimandrite Augustinos Kkaras and present were members of the Board, volunteers and evaluators of the KEPA project together with the contractors of the project.

According to information from the "Agios Christoforos" Offer and Love Center, the new kitchen will meet all modern standards and regulations, new machines will be purchased and due to the many needs, new refrigerators and storage spaces will have to be built.

Remember that in this kitchen they cook every day since 1998 and offer it to needy families with the program of Home Food Distribution.

Also in the adjacent areas is housed the Social Grocery "Basket of Love" which offers food, clothing and footwear to families who really need them.

And as KEPA has informed, they considered it right not to stop cooking for the needy families and so they temporarily moved to a hotel kitchen in Protaras to continue the Home Delivery of Hot Food to needy families.

At the same time, the social grocery operates smoothly every month and supports needy families in our area.
