The annual Ethno-religious Memorial of those who fell during the coup and of the Paralimni Heroes of the Turkish Invasion of 1974 and the Call for the Finding of the Missing Paralimni was held on Saturday at the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios in Paralimni.
The Holy Liturgy of Remembrance and Commemoration was presided over by the Metropolitan of Constantia and Famagusta, Mr. Vasilios. A commemorative speech was delivered by the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Dr. Athina Michailidou.
This was followed by Trisagion and Deesis as well as Laying of Wreaths at the Memorial of the Fallen and Missing.
