The update of the ΕΠΕ
May your memory always be eternal, Andrea Panagi Kamara!
Our Association mourns the loss of a true Unionist, who for four whole decades served his beloved team faithfully either as a commissioner or as a First Team Manager.
Every day on the field, he was the one who had to anticipate and plan for everything, always in collaboration with the Administration.
We had the honor of working with blessed Andreas for many years. He was the absolute master of the locker room and the connecting link between the coach and the Administration. An upright and fair man, he had the ability to keep the necessary calm in the locker room after victories and defeats.
In his youth, like all young Unionists, he tested his football skills, but as he characteristically said, as soon as he realized that he was "unjustly drinking water in the locker room showers after every training session", he made the decision and stopped very early on any attempt to become a key member of the first team of his beloved Union.
The blessed Andreas was also on the bench in the 1983 grand final against Omonia, written on the match sheet as Eforos.
Good luck Andrea Kamara!
