What happens when one of Cyprus' biggest and most beloved parties decides to get its own song and video clip?
The reason is the "Island Party", which is organized every year in the square of Paralimni by the Cultural Workshop "Para ti Limni" and is one of the largest and most successful parties on the island, completing 11 years of presence this year.
The Cultural Workshop “Across the Lake”, in collaboration with musicians and members of the Workshop Kyriakos and Stefanos Hadjiandreou, proceeded to create and release a special song entitled “Ela sto Paralimni”. It is a song that makes the tourist resort of Paralimni, Protaras, smell of the Aegean and musically dresses the summer of Paralimni. The video clip, filmed and edited by Konstantinos Koumis, captures images of summer, sea, dance and company, with a strong island color and an authentic festive atmosphere. The tsambouna, the traditional wind musical instrument with its special sound, gives the song a special color.
"Come to Paralimni" speaks of the festivities that unite people, of the joy of island dance and of the passion that keeps tradition alive. At the same time, it is an open invitation to everyone to experience the Island Festival up close, to join in the dance, to sing and become part of a great summer celebration in Paralimni. Through lyrics full of images from the local festivities, the song captures the festive atmosphere of the summer in Paralimni and Protaras.
As of Wednesday, May 20, 2026, “Come to Paralimni” is available on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube, along with its official video clip. The video clip is shot in the landscapes of Paralimni and Protaras, and features members of the “Para ti Limni” Cultural Workshop, conveying images of tradition, joy and authentic revelry.
