Members of the National Anti-Drug Enforcement Agency, after evaluating information, located and arrested yesterday in the Famagusta district, a 21-year-old man for the flagrant offense of illegal possession of drugs with the intention of supplying them to another person.
Specifically, yesterday around 6pm, members of the National Anti-Corruption Commission spotted the 21-year-old approaching an open area in Paralimni on a motorcycle and picking up some objects from the ground.
The members of the YMCA stopped him for a check. During the search at the location where the 21-year-old was, a precision scale, a transparent plastic container with pieces of cocaine and two nylon bags with a quantity of cocaine, with a total gross weight of 11 grams, were located and seized.
During a search of the 21-year-old's motorcycle, a shoulder bag was located and confiscated, inside which was a nylon bag with a quantity of cannabis weighing two grams, the amount of €3.960 in various banknotes and two mobile phones.
The case is being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Agency (Famagusta Division).
