The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia inspected the construction works of the Covered Multi-Storey Parking Lot on Antonis Papadopoulou Street, in the Municipal District of Paralimni.
During the inspection, in the presence of representatives of the Department of Urban Planning and Housing, the Mayor was informed about the progress of the works to date. The works, which are continuing at an intensive pace, are at the stage of concreting the foundation slab.
The new covered multi-storey car park is a major infrastructure project, which will enhance the available parking spaces in the center of Paralimni, contributing to improving traffic and serving the residents and visitors of the area. This project constitutes the first phase of the general upgrade of the center of the Municipal District of Paralimni.
The next phases concern the creation of a central square and the upgrading and reconstruction of the core streets.
The total cost of the project amounts to €6.762.520 and is co-financed by five sixths (5/6) by the Department of Urban Planning and Housing.
