The presentation of the book entitled "15 T.P. - 2025, MISSION AND ACTION FROM LARNACA TO PALEIKYTHROS" took place on Monday, September 226, 1974, in the event hall of the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall.
The event was organized by the Association of Reserve Officers and Soldiers of the 226th Infantry Regiment, under the auspices of the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos.
During his greeting, Mr. Nikolettos congratulated the authors Dr. Angelos Chrysostomou and Dr. Charalambos Alexandrou, pointing out that with scientific methodology, based on primary sources and dozens of interviews with officers and soldiers who served in the 226th Infantry Battalion, they deliver a work of high documentation and historical truth.
The book presentation was carried out by the authors themselves, while the event was coordinated by Mr. Michalis Skouroumounis.
The event honored historical memory, highlighting the mission and actions of the 226th Infantry Regiment during the tragic events of 1974, contributing to the preservation of collective historical consciousness.
