A meeting to present the Diving Guide of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia to owners of diving centers operating within the boundaries of the Municipality was recently held.
The Diving Guide is a pioneering and comprehensive promotional tool, designed with the aim of promoting diving tourism and the marine wealth of the region in an organized manner. The guide will be printed and distributed free of charge to both residents and visitors of the Municipality.
The guide depicts all the diving spots of the Municipality on a specially designed map, with a clear classification according to the level of difficulty, basic safety instructions, as well as a detailed record of the marine fauna and the special characteristics of each spot, in accordance with international practices.
The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, expressed his satisfaction with the particularly positive response and support from professionals in the industry, emphasizing that the Diving Guide is an essential tool for sustainable tourism development and strengthening the natural identity of the Municipality.
At the same time, he warmly thanked all those who voluntarily contributed to the planning, coordination, documentation and provision of material for the creation of the guide, with special reference to the contribution of Lefteris Souttos and Andreas Siantanis, who played an active role in the coordination and technical support of the effort, in collaboration with the diving centers in the area.
