Father Hercules: The trophy-winning priest who moved to Vespers for the sake of the Union (Interview)

An enjoyable interview was given to the sports portal Kerkida.Net and to the sports writer Stavros Papadimitriou by the well-known throughout the province of Famagusta, Father Iraklis.

As mentioned in the interview, how extraordinary a character he is, is captured by the love of the people. Especially the youth, who may not have an excellent relationship with the Church and young people may not go to church often, yet they worship their Father!

The fact that Father Hercules is always by the side of all citizens and helps in every possible and impossible way plays a role in this. And of course, an important factor is his love for football and the Union! The latter is the reason for our interview, since Pater, who for the last three years has lifted two trophies (at the request of the people), definitely has… things to tell us!

Why do people love him so much? How did he feel when he heard the people shouting the slogan "let the Pope raise it"? Would he be as good a footballer as he is a priest? If he were President of ENP for one day, what action would he take? Who is his favorite football player and of course the most important question, is it true that in 2012 he transferred the evening of Agios Georgios by one hour for the sake of the Union?

Of course, the interview does not lack the hilarious video made by Famagusta.News last Holy Saturday, since Father Hercules is known throughout Cyprus for the speed with which he conveys the joyful message of the Resurrection of the Godman:
