Data on the revenues received by the Municipalities of Cyprus from the beaches were made public by the Minister of Interior, Konstantinos Petridis, after a question by the DISY Larnaca MP Annita Dimitriou and emerged after informing the Ministry of Municipalities and Communities.
The number of organized beaches with recycling bins is added to the data.
At the same time, it seems that all over Cyprus, the first place is occupied by revenues from the beaches of Ayia Napa and Paralimni, while it seems that the Municipality of Sotiras also receives enough revenue from its organized beaches.
Details:
*There was no response from the Municipality of Paralimni to send the requested data, so the numbers come from the approved Budget of the Municipality.
