The Pan-Municipal Gathering for the Municipal District of Paralimni took place on Monday, May 4, 2026, in the event hall of the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall, with the participation of residents, members of the Municipal Council and representatives of the local community.
During the gathering, residents had the opportunity to be informed in detail about the projects that have been completed, those that are in progress, as well as the broader planning of the Municipality, both in the Municipal District of Paralimni and in the entire Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia.
At the same time, the main areas of competence and the strategic directions of the Municipality were presented on issues concerning, among others, tourism, social policy, culture, the environment, animal welfare and education. The Deputy Mayor of Paralimni, Mr. Kleanthis Koutsoftas, delivered a welcome address, while the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nikolettos, presented in detail the events taking place in the Municipality and the planning that is being promoted for the next period.
A dialogue with the public followed, during which the citizens submitted questions and suggestions to the Municipal Council, while expressing their satisfaction with the efficiency, productivity and spirit of cooperation that characterize the Municipal Council and the Municipality's staff.
It is recalled that nationwide gatherings were also held in the other municipal districts of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, in Deryneia, Frenaros and Acheritou.
