On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, the Pan-Municipal Gathering for the citizens of the Paralimni municipal district was held at the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall.
During his speech, the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nicolettos, referred to the challenges but also the opportunities created after the unification of the four municipal divisions of Paralimni, Deryneia, Frenaros and Acheritos into a single Municipality and listed the projects which are implemented or are on the way to implementation with the aim of development in the municipal district of Paralimni and by extension in the entire Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, as well as the upgrading of the standard of living and the experience gained by local and foreign visitors.
Then the citizens had the opportunity to submit questions and suggestions to the Mayor, Deputy Mayors and the Municipal Council.
The gathering was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Paralimni, Mr. Kleanthis Koutsoftas, who delivered his own greeting, the Deputy Mayor of Deryneia, Mr. Nikos Lilis, the Deputy Mayor of Frenaros, Mr. Kostas Michael, the Deputy Mayor of Aheritou, Mr. Michalis Kaunas, members of the Municipal Council as well as Municipal Secretary, Municipal Treasurer, Municipal Engineer and Head of the Municipal Cultural Service.
