The 27nd International Philharmonic Festival organized by the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and the Symphony Band "Armonia" of the Municipality took place with great success on October 28 and 2 in the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia.
The Philharmonic Band "MŁODZIEŻOWA ORKIESTRA DĘTA" from the city of Czechowicach-Dziedzicach, Poland and the Symphonic Band "Armonia" from the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia participated in the festival.
The concert took place on the evening of Sunday 27 October 2024 in Protaras in the presence of the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry Giorgos Papanastasiou, the Polish Ambassador Marek Szczepanowski as well as the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia Giorgos Nicolettos.
The "MŁODZIEŻOWA ORKIESTRA DĘTA" Philharmonic Band of the city of Czechowicach-Dziedzicach, Poland participated together with the Symphonic Band "Armonia" of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and in the provincial parade of Famagusta for the National Anniversary of October 28, 1940 in Paralimni while receiving the salute among others and Polish Ambassador Marek Szczepanowski.
The Polish band also participated in the flag raising early in the morning at the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall.
