An illegal private property located on Fig Tree Bay beach in Protaras was removed, with the Municipality proceeding with landscaping the area. Specifically, the illegal property was constructed near Fig Tree Bay beach and operated as a cafeteria/ice cream parlor. After representations by the municipal authority, the property was removed, while in its place the Municipality proceeded with planting and landscaping the area.
It is recalled that the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia recently proceeded to demolish an illegal building which was located on state land near the central parking area of Protaras, while it then proceeded to landscape the specific area.
