PROTARAS: Bomb explosion outside a nightclub

A bomb explosion occurred in the early hours of the morning in a non-working building in the Pernera area of ​​Paralimni.
Information from the KYPE states that the explosion occurred shortly before two in the morning today in a nightclub located in Protaras.

At first glance, the explosion appears to be due to an explosive device, which caused extensive damage to the building, while no injuries were reported since the center is not operating.

The scene was cordoned off by the Police and pyrotechnicians from the Headquarters are expected to go to the scene to conduct investigations and collect evidence in order to identify the type of explosive device that was placed in the building.

The Police are investigating a case of attempted destruction of property with explosives.

The investigators of the case are expected to receive the closed circuit video surveillance of the area in order to identify, if possible, the perpetrators who planted the explosive device.
