In the Municipality of Paralimni and specifically in Protaras will host the 2nd International Festival of Traditional Dances of the International Police Association.
The Festival will take place from 4 until May 8, 2022 and the Municipality of Paralimni will host the missions as well as the opening ceremony on May 5, 2022.
For this purpose it was held meeting at the City Hall of Paralimni with the Mayor Mr. Theodoros Pyrillis, the Assistant Chief of Operations and President of the International Police Association of Cyprus Mr. Dimitris Dimitriou, the Vice President of the International Police Association of Cyprus and President of the Famagusta Association Mr. George Prof. Kyriakos Pericles.
It is about a important event which will have the opportunity to host Paralimni as it will give the opportunity to visit the areas many members of the association from many countries.
The International Traditional Festival of the International Police Association started in 2019 in Bulgaria and it was attended by groups of police officers from various countries, including Cyprus, while this Festival promotes Cyprus in many foreign countries.
The 2nd International Festival of Traditional Dances of the International Police Association is under the auspices of the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Giannis Karousou.
